Our Story

After nearly a decade of running the successful Healing Tree Acupuncture and Natural Medicine clinic on the Central Coast, co-founders Youngmee and Dahbin realised there was a growing need to support patients struggling with inflammatory skin and allergy conditions. These issues were not only common but also deeply impactful, affecting both physical and emotional well-being. Many patients felt hopeless, relying on strong medications that often came with debilitating long-term side effects.

We knew that there was a better way. With years of experience helping patients manage these conditions, and also going through our own fair share of skin and allergy issues, we saw an opportunity to create a space dedicated to addressing the root causes of skin and allergy concerns. That’s why we opened the Eczema & Psoriasis Clinic—a place where patients can access personalised, holistic care and feel supported throughout their healing journey.

Our philosophy is simple yet profound: the human body has an incredible capacity to heal itself. By supporting its natural healing mechanisms in the right way, true and lasting health can be achieved. We believe that healing, particularly for chronic conditions, requires going beyond masking symptoms and addressing the root causes of imbalance.

Most importantly, we want our patients to feel held, heard, and hopeful. We understand how isolating skin and allergy conditions can be, and we’re here to remind you that you are not alone. Our team is committed to walking alongside you every step of the way, offering compassionate care and unwavering support as you move towards clear skin, improved health, renewed confidence and most of all, love for life again.

Our Vision of Holistic and Integrative Healing

At our clinic, we believe true health is about more than just the physical body. It encompasses the mind and soul as well. When these three elements are in harmony, you can achieve your healthiest, happiest, and most balanced state of being.

Life’s demands often take a toll on both our physical and mental health. When this happens, a holistic approach becomes essential. This means addressing not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes through physical treatments, lifestyle guidance, and support for your emotional and spiritual well-being.

Our vision is to create a sanctuary for natural healing—a place where like-minded practitioners come together to offer life-changing care. From personalised treatments and tailored advice to meditation classes, holistic diet plans, and wellness retreats, we are here to provide you with a peaceful environment where you can rest, recover, and rejuvenate.

Our goal is to empower you to take control of your health, offering the tools and support you need to not only heal but also thrive. At our Eczema & Psoriasis Clinic, we’re dedicated to helping you rediscover your vitality and return to daily life feeling renewed, refreshed, and ready to shine.

Here, your well-being isn’t just our priority—it’s our purpose. Welcome to a space where healing is natural, care is compassionate, and every part of you matters.

Youngmee Lee (Chief Practitioner)

Youngmee, an AHPRA-registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine, serves as the lead practitioner at the clinic. Her journey into Traditional Medicine is deeply rooted in her family’s legacy—both her grandfather and great-grandfather were esteemed doctors of Traditional Korean Medicine. However, her passion for natural and effective healing truly ignited during her first pregnancy. The experience of nurturing new life inspired her to seek the healthiest, most natural approaches to support her family’s well-being and solidified her path in Chinese Medicine.

Youngmee’s personal journey with her own health challenges further deepened her commitment to this field. She successfully managed and healed her psoriasis, which once extended from her neck to her shoulder, through the principles of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, she endured severe sinus issues in her youth, undergoing two nose surgeries before discovering the lasting benefits of natural treatments. These experiences have given her a unique perspective and empathy for patients navigating chronic conditions.

With nearly a decade of clinical experience, Youngmee approaches each patient with a holistic perspective, addressing not only physical symptoms but also the deeper imbalances affecting overall well-being. Her philosophy centers on the belief that the body, mind, and soul must work in harmony to achieve true health. At the Eczema & Psoriasis Clinic, she brings this vision to life, combining the wisdom of Eastern Medicine with modern techniques to provide personalised care for patients navigating skin and allergy concerns.

Youngmee is committed to creating a space where patients feel heard, supported, and hopeful as they work towards their health goals. Her dedication to listening and understanding ensures that each patient’s journey to wellness is approached with compassion and expertise.

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Youngmee enjoys immersing herself in books on health and personal development, constantly seeking new insights to enhance her practice. She finds joy in the kitchen, creating delicious meals, and loves experimenting with homemade natural products to use in her daily life—a reflection of her passion for holistic and sustainable living.
